Dr. Alex

Dr. Alex Whitesell is a graduate of Iowa State University and The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics. Dr. Whitesell was raised in Rapid City, SD and began practicing dentistry in Dakota Dunes, SD after graduating from dental school. In the spring of 2018, Dr. Whitesell began practicing in Freeman and Parkston, where he currently resides with his wife and their two kids, Calvin and Mary. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has completed advanced training at The Pankey Institute and the Implant Pathway Dental Implant Continuum. Dr. Whitesell is committed to furthering his dental knowledge and skills through ongoing continuing education and looks forward to new learning opportunities. He especially enjoys integrating modern technology with quality dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Whitesell loves to run, watch sports, cook, coach cross country and track, and spend time with his family. Dr. Whitesell is excited to be serving the Parkston and Freeman communities.
